Silk Giclée ™

As a photographer, I endeavor to capture a quiet moment in light and time.  We have developed a new media called Silk Giclée ™ that we feel enhances the viewer's experience of that moment.  We print on a silk-like fabric that holds the clarity of the image better than canvas.  It is slightly translucent so it allows light to illuminate from within, as well as to reflect from the surface.  In addition, most of our hanging methods do not require traditional glass frames so there is no glare or film to distract the eye.

We love how light interacts with Silk Giclée ™ and have gone to great lengths to choose materials that will hold up well in sunlight.  The images are printed with archival pigment ink, which have been museum tested to 200 years.  They won't last that long on your window sill, but they are highly fade and water resistant.

Silk Giclée ™ are more durable than paper prints.  If your image ever becomes wrinkled, it may be lightly ironed from the back with a warm, dry iron.  If it becomes wet, let it dry naturally.  However, as with any fine art piece, careful handling is recommended.  The surface may be scratched.  If you plan to place your print in an area where it may be splashed by food, hairspray or other chemicals, we recommend framing.

Each Custom Limited Edition Silk Giclée ™ is individually printed and designed specifically for the customer, gallery or show.   A total of only 750 signed and numbered fine art prints are made from the original photograph.  This method allows for customization of sizing and presentation of each print.  A Certificate of Authenticity and Limited Warranty comes with each image.
