About the Artist![]() Michael McPeak began working in a darkroom at the age of 8, and he has never stopped developing his passion for photography. Michael now works in digital photography, and he likes to call his studio the “lightroom”. He attended Rochester Institute of Technology for a short period but left there to study "enlightenment" in While Michael and Susan have always admired and surrounded themselves with unique, artistic expression, Susan's interest took on a different form in 2003 when she began to work with Michael on the idea of printing on fabric, for a soft, floating presentation. Susan and Michael work together in the printing process, experimenting on media and application. "I love working with Michael's photography. Each image is a visual poem, or prayer celebrating life." The McPeaks feel very strongly about philanthropy and giving back to the earth, people and community. A portion of the sale of every image is donated to charitable, non-profit organizations that feed people, either in body or spirit. Ananda means “bliss” in Sanskrit. The name expresses that each day brings new beauty and nourishment from nature as she combines light, color and form into a soup for us all to enjoy.
